Counting temporary house/apt rentals, dorms, frat/sorority houses, military bases, or any other place where your physical address where you slept changed.

Two questions:

If I stayed in two different dorms in different parts of a campus, but mail went to the same box for both years - do I mark it as two?

I spent two months post-divorce couch lounging at a friend's house - does that count?

I had all mail sent to my grandma's address through college since she lived in BR and it was a good reason to visit her and get a nice dinner.

I'd count that as two since you had to move your stuff.

That's a long time. I'd count it too.

At least you didn't have time for clutter to accumulate.

Thank you for your service

Oof, that's a doozy of a question.

Let's see:

8 states within the US:

NC, WA, KS, GA, HI, RI, NY, LA

Within those states:

NC = 3 addresses (2 cities/regions)
WA = 4 addresses
KS = 1 address
GA = 1 address
HI = 1 address
RI = 1 address
NY = 2 addresses (2 cities/regions)
LA = 6 addresses (2 cities/regions)

Subtotal = 19 US addresses

Abroad, lived in 4 countries:

IT, DE, ES, NL

Italy = 4 addresses
Germany = 2 addresses
Spain = 2 addresses
The Netherlands = 4 addresses

Subtotal = 12 European addresses

Grand total = 31 addresses worldwide

13 about to be 14 in the next month or so between 3 different cities. Next one should be at for a good while though. A lot of that is just bouncing around a lot when I was in college in the same town.
