I never wore any of the pants but I had a bunch of Hilfiger button downs.

Tight rolled Levi's 501s and black Reebok high tops or Dexters.

I was primarily Tommy Fartknocker and Girbaud with a few pairs of Guess, Z. Cavaricci and Ralph Lauren shirts thrown in. Had to save my money to buy all that ahoi polloi crap. I now see just how shallow and pointless that bullshite was.

My 90's attire had:
Duckhead and Hilfiger shirts
Levi jeans
Timberland boots with wool boot socks
That was the South Carolina Southern prep look back in 95-96
Also rocked a Hootie and the Blowfish concert shirt

Polo all day, but I don’t think I ever had either, all though I vaguely remember possibly having a clearance rack polo. I had to buy my own clothes in high school so everything came off of a clearance rack.

Who the hell called it Ralph Lauren? It was Polo and it was the only way to go.

During hilfiger’s peak, nobody was wearing polo. Hilfiger was king.
I think more kids may have been wearing nautica at the time than polo.

I don't think this is true at all

Ralph Lauren. Hilfiger stuff never fit me right, especially their polos.

Quicksilver and Rusty Surfboards.
At LSU, chicken would wear Tommy Hilfiger polos, khaki Duck Head shorts, sebago shoes with his laces knotted up. Sport Ray Ban aviators to top the look off.

It wasn't true in Alabama. It was probably about split, but Hilfiger was preferred by the rednecks and black kids. Preppy white kids preferred Polo.

Elementary was this mostly with Lacoste shirts thrown in.
Middle school was mostly Gap and ole navy.
High school was Levi's jeans and RL if dressing to go out, ole navy on everyday basis.
We were not poor by any means but once ole navy came around, my dad wasn't paying for anything more. He was a single dad raising two kids and didn't give two shots that most of my friends were wearing Abercrombie and Fitch.
Looking back now that I have kids of my own...that man was right.
