How many lawsuits did they have to settle

I had the mini bike on the left in blue. It was a piece of shite.

Bonanza mini bikes were the ones the cool kids were riding. Even some of the big kids too.

In the early 70’s my dad got us the red mini bike priced here at $119.95.
My sisters and I rode that thing into the ground for years.
What memories!

Sears Catalog Page 800 usually was gone in the Camp’s outhouse by early Summer.
The only sections that missed the dingleberry reaper were the ladies lingerie & bathing suits.

I remember many of them survived into the 70's though and rattled like hell. Not to mention the go-carts had zero suspension and killed your arse. Didn't they have Briggs and Stratton's on them as well?

Looks like they are cheaper today accounting for inflation.
Still can get essentially the same thing.

Look at those football players. How did they know these would be the preferred mode of transportation for the football players going around campus?

Those Tecumseh engines could be finiky!
Briggs were much easier crank up.

My neighbor just restored the one on the left. It’s a damn fun little machine. It was his dads in the 60s and he found it in storage.

We had 13 cousins on one side and 7 on the other, there were no less than five of these mini bikes at every family function.
No clutch, you gave the gas and they would spit/sputter for a minute then take off
Great times

Those were for the poor kids.
When I was 5 years old in 1971, I had a Honda Z50.

Man,I wanted the go cart so bad.
We made go carts out of scrap wood and small wheels we could find.Rode them down the hills in the neighborhood. It's a wonder we survived.

I flipped one of those old two seater go karts at a friends camp when we were kids. Scrapped us up pretty good
