Dude, just because something is old doesn’t make it a bad round. It’s ballistically superior to the rounds used by the military today.
Besides, that bullet looks way too long. I’m thinking 8mm Mauser.

I just hate all of this fake compassion. People acting like they have compassion and having compassion are two different things. Any loss of life (well. most loss of life) is sad. That person has family and loved ones and it sucks for them they have to deal with this.. But let's assume the shooter was killing somebody that day, no matter who he killed is sad. He is a jackass, but on the surface... Him trying to kill someone who was enforcing a law, but accidently killed someone who the law was being enforced on is funny.
I mentioned the movie Dumb & Dumber because the part when they accidently killed the dude with rat poison no knowing he was actually trying to kill them (or kidnap them? I haven't watched it in year). They were so dumb, they accidently killed someone who was actually trying to get them.

That's not a Garand stripper clip. That's a 5 round stripper clip for a 91-30 Moisin Nagant in 7.62 54 R.
On further review, those rounds aren't rimmed.
