I'm tired of this fricking shite

I travel a lot for work to the point where I'm almost never home. I used to love it because I'm single with no kids. But now this shite sucks all because of the masks. Its nearly impossible to talk and meet new people. Even if you do you can barely hear them in a loud building and can't read facial expressions anyway. The last 3 states I've been in you can't even sit at a bar so you just have to sit at a table by yourself or drink at home. In the summer it was tolerable because I could enjoy the outdoors but now I can't even do that and I just miss conversation or learning about people from different parts of the country. And somehow we voted for more of this.../endrant

What’s pissing me off is the hotels are using this as an excuse to not give me my free hot breakfast. I just returned from Landmass and for all of their faults, they don’t have a mask mandate and I got my damn breakfast.

RIGHT?! Went on a small weekend trip not long ago and was told breakfast was till 10...come downstairs ready and get handed a box with a breakfast bar and muffin...neither of which I could even eat cause I'm allergic to nuts which they had. Just another example of, "Due to COVID, we have found an excuse to offer subpar service."

Some of Europe is locking down again after very restrictive lockdowns already. There's nothing you can do about it. It's a virus. Just let it do its thing and go about your life.
