I gave plasma once for my grandpa because he was having surgery. That Needle felt so huge after being in my arm for like 30mins. Not a pleasant experience.

Good money in selling plasma,I was going to do it but they said I was too old-71.
I did it when I was in college,made $60/ month.Paid my boat note which I couldn’t have afforded otherwise.I would study during the procedure.
Paid cash and no 1099 so no taxes.
There are many uses for plasma-treatment of shock,clotting disorders,burn patients.It’s a lifesaver in many cases.

When I used to donate in college you were drug tested so I don’t think it’s useful for addicts. Allowed to donate twice per week and you got a bonus on your 7th donation of the month I believe. $15 the first time during the week, $25 the second time, and $25 bonus at the end of the month. I guess they are paying a lot more now. It was the place on Nicholson just off campus in the ghetto. I’d go after class and sit there watching crappy vhs movies, then head to work. I was happy until they banned me for elevated liver enzymes. Not sure why, but went to my physician and they said it was nothing to worry about. Now the buddy who got me into it was donating sperm and plasma. Sperm is where the real money was at.

No shame in donating plasma OP, I used to cover most of my rent back in college donating plasma (that was back in the day when you rent a decent room in a nice area for $400 though).

I think it was about 4 times the amount but stricter screening. I never had the balls to do it.
