Daily wearing of crew socks can lead to frictional alopecia on your lower legs.

Sweaty smelly white cotton crew socks is one of life's worst feelings and smells.

Dri Fit no shows ftw unless I’m wearing slacks or cowboy boots. I wear crew socks with my boots.

I can attest that this is 100% a true statement.

I saw a recent instagram post interviewing young women about men’s socks.

They all said ankle socks is not a good look.

I am still in shock. That’s all I wear and my wife has never said a thing. WTF do I do now?

Now that I’ve taken the plunge I 100% agree crew looks better. If it didn’t my wife would have definitely said something. The fact she’s stayed silent on it confirms it even stronger.

What you do is jump on the bandwagon. I left a link to a Jon Ham-approved option in the OP. By mid week you can change your life.

The same demographic that loves to pierce their septum?

The same count that wear mom jeans with AF1s and think they look hot?

I went to Stony River earlier with under armor no show socks and Clouds.

I did not notice what any other dudes were wearing.

I have no issue with taller socks during the winter, but socks are like head gear you should wear what’s appropriate for the weather.

Beanies were and maybe are cool too, these asshats that wear them in the summer are just stupid. Same thing with socks. We have the technology to make short socks for when it’s hot annd shoes are shorter and tall socks for when it’s cold with taller shoes.

ETA; my middle schooler started wearing the taller socks. Even with crocs and sandles, which is ridiculously stupid for both

Be aware that those are compression socks. Not a problem if they are comfortable to you, though. Those are meant to wear when your feet or ankles swell.

Present… I started wearing design socks, with unique patterns. Today wore Bigfoot sitting by a fire that I got in the Tetons.

Yep. Unless you’re going to be around water, I’d endorse wearing crew socks with crocs/sandals. Bare feet is not the look.

They’re called “compression” by the company but I don’t think they are the super tight/true compression socks that doctors recommend to people who really need them for health reasons.

Anyone that wears crew socks pulled up is the biggest nerd on the planet. And I’m an old guy.

But I have boss level calves.

I’m on it with you brother.
There’s a certain sophistication attached to it.
