Well I’m a realtor in both states and you’re correct Washington doesn’t have an income tax and Idaho has an income tax of 7.8 if you make any substantial money at all. They both have pluses and minuses and both have beautiful areas. But for me I’m more worried about the second amendment rights in Washington so I will keep my butt in Idaho.

I too have a plan to get out of here. Been planning on Central Florida for a long time but want to wait until my kids are in college.

I’m not a fisherman, but wouldnt Louisiana be just as good or better for fishing?
As for Florida, i.know it gets a bad rap, but i think most of that is that it’s just kind of trendy to pile on Florida at the moment.. for me the biggest appeal would be the beaches.. i dont have a 30A sticker on my SUV, but i will admit that the FL panhandle has some of the nicest beaches in the continental US, particularly Navarre Beach IMO.. but my personal favorite beaches are down in Sarasota and the Naples area... Add in Ft Lauderdale and the Keys, and Florida has lots going for it... plus, it isnt Louisiana.

LA doesnt have all that.
The beach isnt all that, unless you are a child, IMO. The flesh eating bacteria in the gulf waters seems to be getting worse.

I left after contemplating about it for a week. Still have my property on St Charles and sixth, and in Northshore.
Bought a house in portland and have had desire to only come back for family and food. I'm not bothered by SJWs here because I dont have to see them.

Outside of the Florida keys, Louisiana has the best salt water fishing in the country.
