Yesterday at Rouse’s and Lowe’s there were certain empty shelves. While I think the panic is overblown, I don’t think it’s isolated to Walmart.

Several Publix stores around us (in town Atlanta) are short on lots of stuff, but nobody is freaking out and you don't see people hoarding stuff.

There is plenty to eat (including lots of healthy food) and Publix looks like it's going into overdrive to make more fresh bread, butcher meats, etc.

Other than the empty paper aisle and depleting meats section, the only other Coronavirus signs are the people taking pictures of said aisles and laughing

Publix

Just got back from Publix(Bham ares). No meat or paper products, but I got some canned fruits and veggies, some pasta, some dry beans, some flour to make bread if I need it, and some cheese. We’ll be fine for a week or two. I have a fair amount of deer meat in the freezer.

I had to make groceries today, and after seeing all the frickery happening at Wal Mart, I figured it would be a shite show. Decided to hit up Winn Dixie instead. Shelves well-stocked. People being normal. No one taking more than they need. Fast moving lines.

Moral: don't believe the hype. Not everywhere is crazy and there are still rational people out there.
Saw a decimated Kroger in deep Georgia, as well. Winn Dixie must not have anything anybody wants.

This news blew up at 4:20 about OHIO restaurants being closed. My phone exploded with text and calls. I immediately went to the grocer (Meijer) and bought as many non perishables as possible. I stood in line for 45 min and the store was half empty when I got there. After I loaded up my car I went back in and took pictures, the shelves were basically empty. I wish I could share them but this forum still hasn't learned yet how to upload pics.

I worked in a grocery store, they are not equipped to deal with this, and I have confirmed that it wasn't just "MY" store, it is state wide the shelves are empty. There is only a truck or two every other day that replenished a small maybe 10% of the shelves, the suppliers will not be able to replenish them all fast enough.

Guns and ammo are being purchased as fast a possible here. Groups of friends including myself are ready to assemble militias all over the state as I have friends all over the state.

I have informed my wife she is not allowed to go to the store alone or unarmed.

This shite is for real. Gov Dewine that POS is going to destroy the OHIO economy. Hell the govt is going to destroy the economy to save a couple of old peoples lives.

The OH govt has said any restaurant that defies the decree will lose their liquor license. There are rumors as well that they will send in forces to shut stuff down as well.

Here in OHIO we are one shooting away from complete martial law. This is no longer a joke, the gov't is out of control, they have 0 constitutional rights to be doing anything what they are doing.
