I'm kicking Keurig to the curb. Recs for coffee makers that grind and use whole beans?

This Keurig machine is getting stomped like the printer on Office Space. Looking for a decent maker in the 400-500 range (max) that is reliable and fairly easy to keep clean/maintain. Single servings would be great but I'm open to suggestions. Amazon? Bed Bath Beyond? Sam's or Wal Mart? Ready to drink good coffee again. TIA

Just buy a grinder and use a French press.

I just assumed these kind of machines were kind of expensive. I'd love to spend 1-200 bucks if I could. Not a hipster. Just tired of shitty overpriced Keurig cups and I want fresh ground beans in small servings...

Does a French press really require that much effort?

Several friends have a Breville that grinds and brews all in one but all of the online reviews say that it gets easily clogged.

For the money, I'd get a separate grinder.

A grinder and French press doesn’t require that much effort and it produces better coffee than most expensive machines.

I use a French press, and when I am in a major rush I use my Nespresso for a quick shot.

The french press makes good java. You don't have to spend a bunch of money on a coffee maker, it's all about the quality of the coffee you're using.
