This happened to my son about 7 years ago. I couldn't believe they totaled his ride out for what seemed like very mediocre damage to me. Problem was they hit the fuel line and some other part was ruined that combined with the body work was going to evidently be above the value. Blew me away.

You mean to tell me you came in here to say you're gonna get screwed AND get a new truck and you want pity?
Come on, now.
in all seriousness, that does suck. enjoy your new note.

Dont forget the mental anguish and emotional distress

This is why gap insurance is important if you don't have equity in your vehicle.

Keep on keeping on OT. Numerous posts and upvotes to fake an injury, probably from most that would call people with tattoos trashy. I have ink and know right from wrong, then in the next breath y'all bitch about ins. premiums.

Someone hits my truck and it looks like they want to total it. They are not gonna want to give me anything for it and the replacement prices are astronomical. I hate this crap so much. There was nothing wrong with my truck and low mileage on it. Now I gotta come out of pocket to buy another one that I wasn’t ready to buy. I know, life isnt fair yada yada yada.
You'll get current fmv for your car. When mine was totaled they searched for transactions that recently occured with similar vehicles, Kelly blue book, ect ect.

Baw, you need to show up to your attorney's office dressed like this tomorrow:

I’ve had two vehicles totaled and each time it was someone else’s fault. In both cases both vehicles were fully paid off. In both instances it ended up costing me money.
I’ve never had a case where I was offered enough money to replace my wrecked vehicle with the same vehicle model/year/trim/mileage). My last vehicle I was offered basically half the money it would take to purchase the same vehicle that was totaled.

This is incredibly shitty.

While I've never had to deal with this before, apparently their offer is not set in stone. Do some research and show them why you think it's worth XYZ value.

You sound trashy. What the hell do tattoos have to do with any of this? As someone who is inkIess, I despise PI attorneys and their sketch practices. For every legit case there are probably 50 illegitimate ones they’ll run through the settle before trial assembly line.
Also, tattoos usually coexist with trashiness and are not the reason for. Think of them as a symptom where “trash” is the illness.

Were you in the truck? Shame about that back injury…
Yep sodomize the insurance company. They’d gladly do it to you.

Id talk to a shop to see what they would want to make it drivable again.
Might have a salvage title but you could have a working truck that you could put miles on for a long time even if it isn't perfect.

Yeah and I get ripped off by insurance companies everytime I make a payment because of injury lawyer trash and the people who fake it

Everybody hates plaintiff attorneys until it's their turn to cash in

So by "gonna" get screwed, you mean it didn't happen but you think it will and you are already posting about it.
Used car values are inflated so based on the market you'll get a fair price so go buy a similar vehicle and STFU.

Cars are so easy to total.
They depreciate at such a rapid rate but parts and labor don’t.
