That would actually be the best case scenario for both parties

Hell at this point in the relationship you should have already been married with kids for years... that or broke up years ago.

You couldn't be more wrong. I'm pulling more 22 year old arse now than ever before. I will admit I can't pull the 18 year olds anymore.

The 30's have been awesome to me so far.

This says a lot. Maybe he'll have a chance again? I know this number. Sounds like you feed the monster a little. Probably tell him just enough to make him feel you still want him just to keep him around because you get off on the attention. Your ex needs to be reminded of why he dumped your arse. Oh yeah, your husband is the beta of all beta's. What a pussy!

My husband is far from a beta. He simply is not a jealous man and he trusts me and knows I would never be unfaithful. He has no doubts about me or my love for him. I am still friends with the ex because we have a child.

I am also friends with my husband's ex wife. We simply let bygones be bygones and maintain good relationships with our exes because we have children involved.

Jealousy doesn't show how much you love someone, it just shows how insecure you are and my husband and I are far from insecure.

OP is going through a mini mid life crisis. He's thinking about all the strange out there. He's been having the same chick for 10 years but unlike most people that have been together that long he doesn't have vows or kids to snap him back to reality. It's both their faults, dick move on his part for most likely ending the relationship by thinking with his dick and stupidity on her part for letting it go on so long, especially the not even living together part.

Right, because that has stopped so many married people with kids from divorcing

How is this any different than a couple divorcing after 10 years of marriage? In fact, this is better because they aren't breaking a binding contract.

Lucky Tiger is doing the right thing. Sure, he's going to absolutely crush her soul and destroy her life. She'll probably entertain suicidal thoughts for a while and if that doesn't kill her then she'll start her whoring phase. All girls go through this phase but most do it in college or their mid twenties after their college romance ends. Kinda like when this one should have ended. So first she will start banging acquaintances because this is what women do. They really don't like one night stands. And she's used to sleeping with someone she has an emotional attachment to, that up to now has been you. This will be hard on you because these acquaintances will probably be your friends too. Then the whore phase will kick into high gear and she'll be banging randoms on a weekly basis. You'll be over her by then so this won't effect you but she'll either wind up pregnant with a strangers baby or with an STD, probably both. If that doesn't happen her life will start to suffer from too much partying and drinking. Going out every night looking for at least some of the companionship you stole from her. She'll end up getting fired and then probably get mixed up in drugs and either OD or end up in jail.

Once again, you did the right thing. It's just too bad you had to ruin her life doing it.

Yep, I agree 100%. I'm in my 30s and surprised how easy it is to find early-20s girls who are interested in older men who aren't just trying to get laid

Any updates from the OP? Did he crush her soul while wasting 10 years of this poor girls life yet?

IMO they both have less skin in the game. No financials to hammer out. Basically one just has to say I'm out and it's done.

Didn't say it hasn't, like I said it just makes it easier.

No, that's like being kind of pregnant. In Louisiana there is no common law, neither one of them has anything binding them to the other except frivolous human emotions.

sounds like you are both divorced already once before, so no big deal, if somebody cheats or gets bored or finds something else, just cut the chord and get divorced again, let the kids sort it out for themselves.
