I am too goddam young for this. I'm 53, same age as Liz Hurley. And we both look damn good.

I feel old though.

Yup. My dad is 63 and my nephew is 12. That seems to be about average. Had my first when I was 25 and if she has kids around that age I’ll be in my early 50s.

My father is still having a hard time grasping this at your age. Nothing you can do about it, sir. Just embrace it the best you can and love your grand baby to the fullest.

I'm 57 with 2 Grandsons. 1 who is 16 (bad decision on my oldest daughters part at age 18), one who is 2 (better decision by same daughter).

Quit complaining and enjoy it. They grow up fast like the kids did. I feel old too.

ETA: Congrats

I loved it when mine were babies.

Now they are 6 and don't appreciate shite. My wife got so pissed at them on their birthday that she only gave them half of what we got them.

Don't over spoil them.

Congratulations. My first one is due in a few days. I'm more excited than my son and daughter in law.

Congratulations. It's awesome.

I became a grand dad for the first time last October 8 at the age of 67. I saw her yesterday. She stole my heart from the first time I held her about an hour after she was born. She turned 5 months old and I love watching her grow.

Enjoy.

I got none and the wife doesn’t look quite like Elizabeth Hurley.

One day, god willing.
