hate when a girl's entire personality is their career.
If a women doesn’t have kids as she ages the job becomes an even bigger part of their “life”. Women use this line as a semi flex “I’m important at my job” which also gives them an excuse for not having kids into their 30s when asked later on.
Most the women who say they are a workaholic have jobs that don’t require that many hours so it’s a blatant lie. Most women are teachers or nurses. Nurses use this all the time to sound important. It’s their crutch for lacking in other places plus it shows they add some value (especially compared to their peers teachers, who they far out earn)
Just speaking facts.

Not an attractive quality for men OR women. Translates to "I'm going to be an a-hole and use work to get out of spending any amount of time with my partner/family" and not "I'm a hard worker with a decent job" like they think it does.

Or they’re just letting you know what’s going on in their lives?
Is it acceptable for a man to say he’s a workaholic?

It's not a problem if a woman is serious about her career and devotes a lot of time to being successful at it.
But using the word "workaholic" is tacky and played out and makes a person seem low IQ and unsophisticated.
There are much more tactful ways to articulate the idea. It's not a flex.

I work hard. My SO doesn't care. He works multiple jobs too. He is just happy that I have a strong work ethic

No I think it’s just as dumb. “Wish I worked just 40 I work 60-70/wk”
That’s cool bro, we’re all going to die soon I hope it was worth it for a few extra dollars.

Read closely now, required. Nurses that work OT choose to work OT.

Because when they were young they were too busy with their "Girl Boss" era. Now that they are old and don't have a husband or kids, they have to pour themselves into work so they have ownership of something. In reality, they are empty inside and another victim of feminism.

So people in other jobs working OT have no choice unlike nurses.

My favorite description on dating sites is "stay at home mommy." From a financial standpoint, how does that work exactly?

Which means, I clock 40 hours a week.

I can confirm that if they say this, it means they are crazy.
I wish I knew that years ago.

Why is this on every other woman’s dating profile?
I've seen a heck of a lot of dating profiles over the past couple of years and I don't think I've ever saw the word 'workaholic' on any of them. It's probably something to do with where you live

Translation, or at least what they want you to think:
" I really don't sit around and play on my phone all day looking at Instagram."

A few more red flags:
"citizen of the world"
"free spirit"
"witch"
"anything having to do even remotely with the horoscope"
