Nobody gives a rat's arse. What pisses people off is when they go to a grocery store and have to sit in the lot while some minority woman spends five minutes trying to execute a 13 point maneuver to back her shitmobile into an open parking spot that is 20 feet closer to the store door than the point where the entire row opens up to do whatever you want - eg, pull forward into the forward spot so you get the best of both worlds: a front entry and a front exit
It's common courtesy. If there are cars behind you take the quickest option.
