They will have guys blow in the mornings on July 5, just because.

There are tons of companies that don’t drug test at all

I'm not against legalizing it, but this isn't what's happening. The cartel is moving heroin and other drugs more now. They're not just going to shut down because the US legalizes MJ.

Weak argument. At least the cartel can't make profits off cannabis to use to further their other insidious endeavors. Also legalizing would quit wasting the police/fbi/dea/cia/etc time and resources going after cannabis users and could put that effort and money into going after the real bad guys, like the ones peddling meth, heroin, sex, etc.

Legalize everything and drop government funded programs for drug recovery.

Get rid of the cartels, lower the population and weed out the lower IQs and poor decision makers.

Let’s really get wild.

That's probably the best option

I'd add a little tax to offer recovery solutions just to appease the moralists

Good idea. Let's turn it into a federal felony.

Potheads aren't the smartest.

Yes, because the USPS has the right to just open my carefully packed package for no reason.

oh you....

Eta....I don't ship to myself, don't need to. This idea is for others.

Shipping edibles is about the easiest thing to mail if you're smart about it. USPS needs a search warrant to open a package as a gov't entity.

I am good with this if the Feds legalize it but not crazy about States having this kind of control.

I feel exactly the opposite. I think this should be a state's rights issue

you don’t like states giving you more rights(or your rights back, depending on how you look at it).

Felt the same way about the whole gay marriage thing too.

I'm not opposed to it because I don't think the government should control whether two consenting adults can get married but it should have been up to the states.

We've ceded too much power to the feds.

Dunno about the budget but...

Get them all stoned on cheap high quality weed and the murder rates will plummet.

Ever seen someone stoned just decide to go kill somebody?

Interesting....

Supposedly there is a path to expunge your record if your past conviction in Illinois was due to possession of under 30 grams.

Does not compute.

Are we pretending that there isn’t enough weed there now.
