You serious? How is that even possible?

I'm joking some but on a previous page there was a Twitter post of a girl that came back to an empty parking spot. Looked like at Target. She might have been towed.

Probably because they didn’t have traffic to hold up at 12pm on a Sunday. If you want to piss people off, stand out there at 7:30 am,, during rush hour

Honestly best of both worlds. We get to point and laugh...and then do it again when they rip riverside towing to shreds getting their cars back.

Well at least this allows the protesters a full day of work and they won’t have to use their PTO.

Ebrso capitulating so today I bet the protesters raise the bar..
WTF SID?
“The march did not continue and the roads were no longer blocked, but a crowd remained on the shoulder, refusing to leave unless the deputies left first.
Deputies eventually complied and left the area. The crowd dispersed almost immediately afterward“

Blocking a major thoroughfare and disrupting commerce is not a peaceful act

Are they really gathering at 5:30 today at same spot? Gonna be some anger from motorists.

Every tow truck company in Baton Rouge should be staged on Siegen and start grabbing these assholes’ cars tonight.

While protesters might be able to get away with that in other cities, I don't see drivers in Baton Rouge being as accommodating. Plus Sid has shown in the past that he will not tolerate people trying to block streets

I hate Riverside but that is not how this works.

It is if they have a contract with the business. No idea if Riverside has contracts in that area but it would not surprise me.

Although this does not seem to be Riverside’s target victim demographic.

Gary gonna get somebody killed blocking Siegen at knock-off time. I guess it’s not a real protest unless somebody gets run over by an F250.

I don't think that's exactly how it went based on the live feeds. Deputies gave some space but did not leave the area until the protesters were done and walking back to their cars

While I get that, it’s a de-escalation tactic. It looks like it worked too, so I’m ok with it.

Neville Chamberlain couldn't have said it better.

That was the second round. The first was relatively peaceful and law enforcement actually provided them with a buffer from passing traffic to peacefully march to Airline and come back. Then they “dispersed”. It’s only when they returned and blocked the road that law enforcement reappeared as a show of force, but never engaged.
