Why would there be a drop on pay assuming you are working 4-10s. I currently get every other Monday, would just like every monday

Monday. Nothing gets done on Friday so it's practically a four day weekend.

OT answer: frick that! If’n you ain’t working 37 hours a day 7 days a week you’re not accomplishing anything. I haven’t had a day off since I was a fetus! My family doesn’t even know I exist and they prefer it that way!

My answer: Wednesday. Middle of the week, never work more than two days in a row, fridays are slow anyway. More time doing shite I actually want to do instead of TPS reports.

Thats why I enjoy my schedule. Have the 3/2 split. Have a 3 day weekend every other week and get Wednesday/Thursday off every other week.

Was playing golf with the week day rate once a week during covid when everything was shut down

I'd choose Friday, b/c I'd have a 4 day weekend at least 3 times a year with regular Monday holidays(Memorial Day, Labor Day, MLK + when Christmas and New Years fall on Monday).

If only those two choices, Monday. If I can choose any day, Wednesday. Powder days with no one else around would be great.

Some companies are considering dropping to 4 day work week, and not going to 10 hour days. So full time would be around 32 hours and not 40 anymore. A pilot of this is happening in Britain right now, with about 100 companies taking part.

I have a 4 10 flex schedule and never take that extra day off (Friday). Partly because a 10 hr day is super tough to do with young kids. It is a wfh day usually and I might go play golf on the rare day I take it off. I miss my 9/80 schedule.

4-10s would be fine as long as both of you aren't doing it if you have young kids. I could do it now but our youngest kid is about to start driving

Having done both, I can tell you Monday is the day. Flex Fridays were my favorite days to work. Most people will pick Friday and the office will be empty on that day.
