I have no clue, but if I had to guess, I would think it is an option. But I know when someone wins a big lottery there is always a report on where the ticket was sold. It also seems like there are times when people don't claim it right away.

ETA: my first visit would be to my attorney to find out the way to be the least known lottery winner. Maybe setup LLC with the winning ticket thru that but send my attorney as an agent of the LLC.
