Live off Albertsons parkway in Broussard and like it. Convenient to everything and gets me out of Lafayette.

If you work in Lafayette, check out the rush hour traffic in and out of somewhere like Youngsville.

For example:

Verot/339 backed up from Ambassador to E Milton in the mornings.

Youngsville Hwy/81 backed up from Ambassador to Pinhook in the afternoons.

I made this many years ago when I commuted against that traffic. Not sure the roads have improved too much.

I have no idea why anyone would want to live in Youngsville

Youngsville but RR in Lafayette is really convenient and not as expensive to live there as people think.

They haven’t. Traffic is still a problem and what infrastructure improvements have been made have been overwhelmed by new growth in the area. But that happens anywhere people want to live.

Neighborhoods in Lafayette: Woodvale, River's Bend, West Bayou, Broadmoor, Frenchman Creek, Stonehaven (all zoned for Woodvale and Broadmoor). Small towns: Milton, Youngsville, and Maurice. I would say Broussard too but the schools have sucked since they rezoned.

Ambassador is now 4 laned all the way to Hwy 90. It now runs from I-10 to Hwy 90. Still is a cluster at Johnston.

Verot is now 4 laned from Pinhook past Ambassador.

Kaliste will soon be 4 laned from E. Broussard all the way to Hwy 90. The super roundabout at E. Broussard is almost complete.

Numerous roundabouts in Youngsville which moves traffic but makes the town feel like driving through the same section over and over.

Reasonable driving distance to what?

And anywhere around the Kali Saloom/Amb Caff area (i.e. French Settlement, etc.) is a good area

I grew up there. Kid in the 80s and grew up in the 90s. Went to Green T. London (no Gallet school) and played ball at BYYA (Broussard-Youngsville Youth Association)

I'm sure you are part of the group that ruined the area in the first place

Well you'd be wrong a-hole. I'm the same age as you grew up here went to St. Cecila and Broussard Middle was also in the BYYA.

to what?

work downtown?

work off ambassador north of johnston?

work off ambassador south of kaliste saloom?

I live and work near downtown and it takes me 20 minutes sometimes to get to my buddy's house near ambassador and verot.

You need to be more specific about where you're driving
