And I grew up listening to vinyl on the 1956 turntable my grandparents bought as their first piece of furniture as a married couple. I own that turntable now — fully restored, humming like a dream — so please don’t climb up on a soapbox and try to educate me about vinyl. I was raised on the crackle.
