It really is eye opening when I drive through NBR because I rarely venture that way anymore. It's kind of sad to see what were once decent areas basically destroyed.

I use to drop a teammate off in the middle of desire 3x a week. He always told me the last person someone is going to frick with is a white boy in the hood all alone because something definitely ain’t right about that.

In college I got dropped off in Compton and I had to walk about 5 blocks around midnight. I got a lot of stares and a few people asked me if I was lost. But they were all nice.
