Thats not how it usually works. The really dirty cops aren't the ones taking money off the top of a bust. They are the ones getting envelopes every month and working to limit new competition. The only cops that do what you're saying are the ones who get caught.

Ummm... none whatsoever. Trust me, even if I was that type of a piece of shite the malfeasance charge wouldn’t be worth getting stabbed in prison by all the guys who would happily kill a former cop.

I guarantee you I could spend 125k without Internal Affairs ever sniffing a thing. If I had 125k illegally it's not touching a bank.

Its much easier to steal overtime. Cops are playing the long game. People think cops make 40k and are broke. There was a state trooper in Louisiana that made 240k in 2016. 147k in OT.

Payroll fraud. 240k for time not worked.

347 Seattle Police made at least 200k.
Ridiculous pay for disrespectful public servants.

1326 made at least 6 figures in Seattle. 1 officer made 415k.

I would suggest everyone go down to public records and request all the salaries of their local law enforcement. These people are stealing tax dollars.

If these officers are working all the hours they claim they are, its no wonder they suck at their jobs.

Some are claiming 70 hour work weeks all 52 weeks of the year.

There are thousands of cops around the country making more than Mayors,Governors, Congressman and Senators. There are some that are paid more than the President.

shite is ridiculous.

So, let's say you keep 50k. The drug dealer knows it. You are the arresting officer, so they can figure out who took the money. They know you have to hide it and can't spend it right away. This is a criminal that should know lots of other criminals. Why wouldn't they just come and take it back?

If that’s the case, they would have only been caught with 50k on them.

Stop being a drama queen. I asked a question, I never said I would do it.

Yes. In 2003. 17 years ago. What does that have to do with the price of rice in China?
