What place do you see some of the truest displays of the stupid people that walk amongst us?
I am sitting in a cable provider store. I am listening to a rep explain a large bill to family. They have paid for multiple viewings of new releases and even ordered dvds from them. I was not aware you could even do that. They didn’t realize the difference between free content or premium nor pay per view. I feel bad for them but I am judging them just the same. The rep says some of the cost can be reduced but it is “just a lesson.”
ETA the bill totaled $382, after he waived and lowered as much as possible.
What are some of your favorite places you see really stupid people show their stuff?

Traffic court.
I get a ticket prob once every 24-36 months.
I enjoy wasting an early evening and going to watch the absolute bottom of the barrel at traffic court.
Holy shite.
You want to feel better about yourself go there and just sit in awe in the absolute mess that people have made of their lives.
Always interesting to see that that they know they are going to court yet somehow don’t own a pair pants that’s not denim nor know how to tuck a shirt in.
Quite remarkable.

Mine would have to be the grocery store. AT&T store is right there. I am always behind someone who walked in there likely thinking someone was just going to give them shite. What the hell were they thinking?
Convenience stores are also bad...especially with the dollar lottery folks.

Taking 15 minutes to order food from Raising Cane’s. There are big photographs and only a handful of combinations to choose from.

Went to the vet. A couple is there to pick up their dog who had some serious surgeries. The bill was $2000 roughly and they went crazy because they couldn’t pay it. The vet wouldn’t give them their dog back because it was still recovering. They said they’d have to skip their mortgage and car payments to get the dog as if the vet would just waive the fee. Then they asked how she could sleep at night for charging them that much. the Lady even asked why she couldn’t just help them for free. Some other vet came up and showed them some papers they had signed showing them the quote. They shut up after that but kept bickering over how to afford their dog back. People are stupid.
