Nothing like people leaving their vehicle at the pump for 30 minutes and come out with arms loaded full of snacks and shite they bought.
Buckees has 100 pumps.

Yes, I am surprised how this board always seems to show a lack of care for others, or maybe Im not surprised. So many people here think they are the only people who matter.

Not sure why you’re getting downvoted into oblivion. But I only use a local store with 4 pumps. There are many other ways to get your gas and get out of the way no matter how much beef jerky you need from inside.

Buying the gas is prepaying for the use of that spot while I get coffee and take a leak

Yeah this is something that infuriates me. Move your car when you’re done, you piece of shite. It’s also people who start pumping, leave the pump to go inside, so the pump has been done for several minutes while they’re inside with their thumb up their arse. This is a telltale low IQ signal. Along with people who take way too long at drive through ATMs.

Don't know about low IQ.. Probably more sociopathic behavior then anything.

OP is correct. A gas pump is not a parking space, it’s a gas pump. If the station is busy, fill up then move your car to go inside. Common courtesy. If there are 12 other pumps open, then no big deal. Some entitled folks in this thread.

No, no it isn't.

It's not just this board. It's the majority of society these days. Common courtesy is a thing of the past. People by and large are inconsiderate and think the world should revolve around them and their little space as evidenced by several of the replies here.

Unless God hates you, there will always be at least one pump available every time you pull into a station.
God is very forgiving, so I guess the question of the day is what have you done to justify the no empty pump wrath of God?

downvotes are revealing, we are surrounded by jackasses.
Probably leave their shopping carts in the spot next to them, too. And drive in the left lane without regard to traffic piling up behind them. And they stop at green lights to wave that guy at the red light to turn in front of them. And....

You guys go to the extreme the other way on these topics also.
Don’t do what you like = no common decency/decay in society. I’m not talking about ppl waiting in line behind me for gas. If I’m at Bennys I’m walking 30’ inside and out the parking lot in minutes. Not moving my car to the front of the building if no one is waiting.

Have you been to Bucees?
Posted on 5/8/23 at 7:49 am to JumpingTheShark
Unless it is a natural disaster, why are you waiting on pumps? Just go to the next gas station. They are literally everywhere.
And yeah if I spend $80 to fill up, I'm not moving 10 feet to run inside and grab a drink. That just isn't happening.

I always do that. And I be sure to let people get in front of me in the checkout line to take even longer
