I actually haven't been to Philly either, but I have a friend from there who now lives in Boston and he said it's not even close. People from Philly are way worse. Particularly at sporting events.

I mean, you always hear of big stadiums around the country that have jails, but the old Veteran's Stadium is the only one I've ever heard of that had a goddamned court inside of it as well.

The 700 level at the Vet was infamous. My old roommate was from there, and some of the stories he told were awesome. People pissing in the concourse, fights galore, even a few people fricking.

Not retarded at all. That is what New York is. I go about once or twice a month for work. I feel twice as motivated and energized when I am working in that city

Been twice. Hated it the first time around, much better the second.

I'd like to hear what these "Not Even Close" people think is better than NYC in America. Can't wait for your likely well traveled responses.

Saddest sentence ever. What does this even mean?

If you're talking cities, then just off the top of my head,

Miami
Houston
San Antonio
Denver
Hell, I'd even take New Orleans over NYC.

This is all of course a matter of opinion and I'm sure some people will LOL at me saying Houston and New Orleans.

If you mean just places in general, I could probably list over 1,000 places I would rather be on any given moment than New York City. Especially anything outdoors. But I guess most of the New York defenders in the thread are city people. New York is probably paradise to them. I'm not. Can't stand most big cities and don't like big crowds.

Yes, yes I will. I get the whole superlatives are subjective thing, but come on man. What criteria are you using? Real estate prices per square foot? Yes, then Houston is better than NYC.

Not everyone is comfortable in a mega city.

Places I enjoyed or would like to go back and visit.

San Antonio and New Orleans are the only two place on my list that I have actually lived in.

Would rather go to San Antonio than New York. Bet New York's Mexican Food Sucks.

I would probably venture that San antonio has better Mexican food. NYC has better.....everything else.

One more day left in NY before heading home. My only complaint is that this city is not afraid to blast a heater. It is hot everywhere.

That is definitely not true.
