Audubon Place is fine if you don't mind your dog being brutally attacked.
If that's my biggest concern in NOLA I will take it.

I love living in New Orleans.
Anywhere around Audubon Park is really nice, The Black Pearl is coming up, as is Broadmoor, the Irish Channel is nice, and The Lower Garden District is very nice.

Lets be honest. Its in a nicer area and worth more than 99% of the OT homesteads.

Yikes, couldn't imagine prepping dinner for friends in that kitchen.

Everywhere they are telling you costs 450K for a below average house because the chances of getting shot go down to 10% in those neighborhoods.

I left NO in '87, never again. The blatant corruption is mind boggling. Now in BR, with the riff-raff that moved here after Katrina, it's just as bad.
fricking Drama Queen. BR was just as bad before Katrina. Get over yourself.

That’s not in the Black Pearl. Great location though.

Lived in the Black Pearl right by Army CoE building in med school. The old black lady next door loved me.

Yeah old black ladies love me too. Been around them my entire life.

Damn, I didn't notice that. I know older homes typically did not have large family kitchens but that's condo size. Ehhh, what's a $200K remodel if you just dropped $3.4M.

I have family in ORP and think it’s still better. Parking situation and getting in:out of Four seasons sucks ORP more private.

Choice #1 is the triangle formed by City Park Ave, Orleans, and Carrollton.
Choice #2 is the neighborhood between Canal and Delgado, from City Park Ave to the interstate.
Also some nice places between Allen Toussaint Dr and the lake.

Yeah they always seem to forget about how BR was top 3 in murder rankings in thr early 90’s.
Section 8 and the spread of crack housed all over the city is what had caused BR people to wake up to the crime problem:.
