Not an ex but...
Years back when they still had the trashy strip joints on Airline Highway by the Parish line (Southern Comforts?), one of my buddies asked me to go down there with him. He had been on a date with a waitress there and she asked him to come by during her shift. It was fairly sketchy and he didn’t want to go alone. Being a good buddy, I went along so he could get in his trailer park Queen experience. We get there and I meet the girl, she is a IRL 5 / OT 1.5 but whatever. We have a couple of beers and then they announce a “guest dancer” and she pops out on stage and does the deal right in front of our seats. This girl knew how to get nekkid. She comes down after the dance, tells my buddy “I get off in 10 minutes and need a ride home” and goes in the back to get dressed. He hands me $20 and says “you know you are getting a taxi right?”

It all depends if my buddy was hurt by the breakup. If he did not care and was over her, I may go with a group, otherwise kinda creepy

I used to frequent a strip club all the time in my early 20’s and I moved away from that town 12 years ago. About 6 years ago my BIL moved to that same town and I told him about this strip club I used to go to and he ended up meeting a stripper that had been there since I was there and they got married
She started at 18 there so she is only around 32-34 now and they meet when she was in her late 20’s.

Me and a buddy went to a titty club years ago and saw another friend of our's then girlfriend and baby momma get up on stage. She came over and started flopping her funbags up against my face, and at the same time saying "Hey, how y'all doing? Oh, so and so is doing fine, so's the baby. You guys want a lap dance?" Totally awkward. I still talk to that dude sometimes. They eventually got married, and she's actually still dancing. He's proud of her like that for some reason.

Never ran into a buddy’s ex. But years ago at a strip Club in downtown B’ham (can’t remember the name but it’s gone now anyway) I did run into a stripper that once we started talking we realized we knew each other when we were kids, went to the same church and was even in the same Sunday School class. Didn’t stop me from getting a lap dance and BJ though.
