Same as I was. A brewpub watching Liberal staff melt. Then home to get drunk and watch liberals melt.

I would plead with the guy who hacked DU to not do it. Though a true patriot in every sense of the word, dude robbed me of potentially one of the most glorious nights of my life.

Upvoted for this quote. Haha.

The answer is none of the above, I would do the exact same thing I did in 2016. Even if you go back in time with the knowledge of today, no one else has this knowledge so you look kinda like a kook trying to explain all this to your friends watching election results.

Same thing I did. But I was expecting to drown my sorrows and instead it turned to drinking in celebration.

I dvr’ed The View the following day so I could enjoy the melt after work.

I was happy posting here and watching CNN. And spot checking reddit.

No. Just a big circle jerk I would not be interested in.

b) Mrs. Clintons HQ in NYC (victory party becomes cry-fest)

Yes, that would be where I wanted to be. That was fricking hilarious.

quote:

c) the foresight to invite a bunch of friends to a massive tailgate at your house, with TVs inside and outside, the grill going strong and/or gumbo perfecting, lots of adult beverages flowing, and convince your pals to bring a toothbrush and a change of clothes because y'all'd be up until 4:30am and they'd be leaving for work from your place

I’m not gay, so no. And I did have the foresight to know that Trump would win, so this is irrelevant.

quote:

d) for those who hated/hate Mr. Trump, you could have taken a safe, special pill that had you sleep from 6pm on election night, for 48 hours, just in time to join the #NotMyPresident / Antifa rallies

This was not as funny as you thought it was. Have a downvote.

Showed up at my parents' house to drink in frustration. Thought 2016 would be the 3rd straight presidential election since I could vote where I chose the loser.

Watching the NYT prediction site as Florida returns came in changed all that.

I remember refreshing the Poli Board over and over. Then after it got late, turned on the news and had more fun watching the melts on CNN than Fox News just covering the election. I remember seeing the DOW futures and oil prices were down by an obscene amount. Turned out to be a great buying opportunity.

As much as I would enjoy the watching tears at the Hillary party, I’ll go with the big throw down with my friends.

Yeah, no regrets how I spent the election. A friend and I went to a theater in Dallas and I bet him $200 that Trump would win. My only concern was Pennsylvania, and the only state I got wrong on my chart was New Hampshire.

I worked at a shitty place and they wanted us in for required corporate training from 5:00-8:00 the next morning to make sure none of the sales reps slept in. I had no intention of showing up to work that day and just got shithoused until 3:00 in the morning. Quit by the end of the week. Much better job now and missing out on that election to wake up for a job I hated would have been a huge regret in my life. I’ll remember that night until the day I die.

I fell asleep early that night fully expecting a Trump loss. When it seem that Trump was unexpectedly looking good, my wife woke me up.

My wife who knows little about politics shook me from a deep sleep and said, "hey, I think something is happening".

I got up and stood in front of the tv still half asleep trying to comprehend what was happening. CNN was in meltdown mode and I was just standing there smiling.

It was truly one of the most memorable moments in my life and I would not want to trade that moment with being anywhere else that night.

It was so fun to watch the liberal media’s reaction when they realized Killary wouldn’t win. I was flipping through the channels and they were in disbelief. It was hard for them to say that DT would win. It was also great to watch Bret Baier on FOX when they realized Trump would win. I wouldn’t change a thing. I would vote for him again. I was so pumped up I couldn’t go to sleep

For me and all my friends, we all lost back in May 2016. It was a night of mourning regardless, but no one more richly deserved to lose to an Orange pussy grabbing game show host than Hillary Clinton. Between the shock of what I thought would come to fruition came true, I started laughing hysterically. It’s the funniest thing in American history objectively speaking.

Thanks for the liberal tears. I was thirsty.

Could you clarify? My mind is hitting a few different scenarios here. Please give some context/conclusion??
