I couldn't decide if this was O-T Lounge or Politics Board, but since I'm asking a dumb as shite O-T style question... here it is:
If you could go back in time, to the General Election of November 2016, and could have access to anywhere, would you:
a) Mr. Trump's HQ in NYC (victory party)
b) Mrs. Clintons HQ in NYC (victory party becomes cry-fest)
c) the foresight to invite a bunch of friends to a massive tailgate at your house, with TVs inside and outside, the grill going strong and/or gumbo perfecting, lots of adult beverages flowing, and convince your pals to bring a toothbrush and a change of clothes because y'all'd be up until 4:30am and they'd be leaving for work from your place
d) for those who hated/hate Mr. Trump, you could have taken a safe, special pill that had you sleep from 6pm on election night, for 48 hours, just in time to join the #NotMyPresident / Antifa rallies
e) other?? (make it good - and don't say Hillary's hotel room, because you would have a remote control protruding from your forehead by 10:15pm)

ETA - Trump was +2500 on August 5th. I would have dropped everything on Trump if I knew the outcome

I'd bet on Trump with a sportsbook.
The odds were damn good.

My VERY liberal friend in Los Angeles started sending texts about odds at 5 am on election day. Trump was +800, at 10am it was +500, I threw down 500 on it.

the best was the next morning. for that brief moment in time, my faith in humanity was restored.
walking around it just felt better. the air was cleaner, colors more vibrant. life once again had meaning for the privileged white male.

Please do! And for my next O-T gem... a re-issued discussion on whether or not it is trashy to ask for "no ice" at a restaurant??
