Coater and HeWentToJared aren’t going to be happy you let the cat out of the bag.

But yeah, Reunion is one of the nicest courses I’ve seen in Mississippi. The neighbors are all really friendly. Madison is great from what I’ve seen.

It's hard to answer these without knowing the lifestyle of the people asking them the question. Roanoke, VA is hard to beat in terms of cost of living vs. quality of living. I would go Roanoke over Savannah or Knoxville.

We've considered Roanoke. It's pretty over there. we have a few friends that are from or moved back to that area.

You’re a physician and concerned about cost of living?

Yea, I've been looking at places near a body of water of sometype. Wife and I do like to eat out, so I need somewhere that has a decent variety of restaurants.

Just because I make decent money, doesn't mean I have to throw my money away...

I love living in N.C.

If you are comparing Charlotte and the Raleigh area it probably depends mainly on what job field you are in as the metro areas are of similar size. Both are growing at a rapid pace.

I do like Charlotte’s location better. Closer to Asheville and Charleston. If you don’t mind a longer commute or work in Ballantyne, you can save some dough and live across the border in SC.

If you can't handle the Mexicans, West Austin, Westlake or Steiner Ranch or North Dallas, Highland/U Park or near Jesuit.

That's the problem with the Mississippi coast and Madison suggestions. They are very poor white collar job markets

The Mississippi Coast, at least the Southwest part, is like New Braunfels, you have to commute far/in long traffic for work. Jackson has few white collar jobs but if you can nail one of them the commute is not so bad from Madison. Disregarding the hill country and rivers that New Braunfels has, Madison is way nicer than New Braunfels.

A family member has a restaurant and a house in Jackson and he really can't stand how ghetto the city is. Madison seems like a cool place, maybe too cliquey though if you didn't go to MS State/Ole Miss?
