You can't swap places with someone for example Neil Armstrong can't magically disappear and Jacques Guidry walked on the moon.

For me it would 100% be May 6, 1864 at Widow Tapp's Field when R.E. Lee atop Traveller personally led the Texan's into battle against Hancock's corps. The yells of, "Go back, General Lee, go back, " must have been the most inspiring act possible before going into the meat grinder and completely halting the Union advance.

quote:

Lee turned back and rode off through cheering Confederate troops. "I thought him at that moment the grandest specimen of manhood I ever beheld," one soldier who witnessed the event later recounted, "He looked as though he ought to have been, and was, the monarch of the world."

Asteroid hitting Earth that wiped out the dinosaurs (if legit.) Would be crazy/terrifying/awesome to see, probably die painlessly in a split second and then I wouldn't have to listen to snowflakes and LGBTQs

I would've liked to have been there when our military members began to come home from World War II. I would've gone broke buying them drinks.

That's a tough question. Of course, there's always Jesus. I'd like to have met my great-grandparents and seen what my grandfather was like as a kid. I've always been fascinated with the history of the London Blitz of 1940-41, so possibly see wartime London and meet Churchill. I'm also a fan of big band music. I'd love to have seen Glenn Miller play say circa 1938-40 at someplace like the Hotel Pennsylvania in New York, the Glen Island Casino, or one of the other great venues of the swing era.
