Immortality...no disease..genetic perfection, unimaginable technology...

Or

Rulled under total control...no rights except the thoughts in your head. March out your government dwelling... Loaded onto busses to work for the "machine" everyday. Maybe there's nothing here at all. Maybe computers and robots have extinct humans???

Either way...it's a one way trip and you'll leave everyone you care about behind.

How many are crazy enough to do it??

Nope. Too great a chance of a nuclear wasteland. Small countries are getting nukes now. It's not hard to see what the mathematical probabilities are pointing toward.

So would I...clearly not the option here.

Actually 65 years in the past might end up being the best times ever to live.

I'd have to stay there, and wouldn't see the people I love ever again? No.

I don't get why people would want to live in the past. The past generally sucked

Cry babies like you didn't exist. Or at least not enough of you to bring down the rest of us.

According to movies, everyone was a professional dancer and burst out in song during conversation.

Seriously, people were better then. Men weren't crybabies. Women had less attitude and carried themselves better and cared about their appearance.
