I used to eat at the Ground Pati across from the Hornbeck office on 190. I think it's some kind of Asian place now.
I don't have too many good memories of that time in my life, but I guess that's one of them.

Shoneys and Godfather's Pizza as mentioned here many times. They may or may not still be in operation, but they closed up shop in my hometown a while ago.
Mazzio's Pizza was damned good as well. The lunch buffet and Tuesday night dinner buffet was legit.

Does anyone remember Applegate Landing in Houma? I think it was round about where Pinoochio’s Pizza is/was. This would’ve been early ‘80’s. It had a small door for kids to walk through and a cool water wheel wishing well in the dining room. Was my favorite place when I was a kid.
