If I figured out how to go back in time, then I sure as shite wouldn’t pick a year when Jennifer Connelly was underage.

Something tells me if we have the technology to go back in time we could use some math to find where earth was down to the molecule

Say we could travel back in time 1 second: Without moving we would probably be in space somewhere.

The earth travels 18.5 miles per second on its orbital path around the sun. If you went back 1 second without moving you’d be that far away.

I guess if you got technical, given the spherical shape of the earth, you would find yourself up in the air and probably instantly fall to your death or at least critically injure yourself.

That is why Delorean needed to reach 88 MPH so it could catch back up with the position of earth when it travels through time.

If you were 200 million light years from Earth and had a powerful enough telescope, you could watch dinosaurs roam the Earth. Or 2025 light years away and see Jesus.

all points of space and time are connected. You can go from one to the other without traversing all of space between.
