True, very true, but thats a hard pill to swallow when you can have a cop sexting 15 year olds and only getting demoted, but keeping his job.

What other profession, besides politicians could get away with that.

The same cops who allowed this, would be perp walking you or me.

Except cops are hellbent on protecting their own and not getting rid of the bad ones.

Good luck with the 2 types of people filling that job.

1. The person that only wants that job just to be a bully. 2. The person who should never be policeman but still wants to be one.

I don't know of a single good person that would like to be a police officer right now. I'm sure there are some, kind of like white basketball players but I don't know of any.

Just be a cop in a predominantly white suburb. Their busy days consist of dealing with a car break-in or two.

I didn’t say anything about that case.

I just said cops should quit.

If their job is so easy I’m sure you could defend yourself without them. Just make sure you don’t make a mistake when defending yourself against a criminal because you may never see the light of day again.

That depends on the department. I worked for a department that expected professionals and weeded out the ones that were not.

I am also very happy to be retired.

Well that’s the thing. If I kill somebody while “making a mistake” I’m going to jail for it, not getting a few weeks paid vacation pending an internal investigation.

Or, you make a mistake that gets you shot and killed for that big 60k a year, but the dregs of society who throw rocks at the police for everything they do, because they’re well, dregs, won’t give one shite about that. Just as long as you don’t hurt one of their fellow dregs.

Below is a picture the good apples, the ones honestly doing their jobs breaking up illegal park gatherings.

All unconstitutional laws and especially the tyrannical edicts of 2020 are nothing more than letters to Santa without the backing of men with badges and guns.

Just doing my job is not a defense.

How about just not be a horrible cop?

All for 60k a year?

You could sit on your arse and collect not much less in government benefits.

Just quit. What’s the point?
Because when you return that toolbox full of tools to the lower-middle class husband and father of 3, it feels good.

It doesn't happen very often, but when it does there's nothing else like it.

The riots that will take place will have nothing to do with an individual horrible cop

Our inability to look at a horrible cop in isolation is the main problem here.
