People have also become extremely expensive, primarily due to liberal ideologies. Health insurance goes up 5-10% every year. People want more time off. You cant fire someone even if they are a bad employee, etc. You get sued for interoffice disagreements. DEI hiring. We are dong it to ourselves. I know for a fact. i can walk into any large company and find at least 10% of the workforce is completely replaceable.

ok done arguing about this
it literally is the whole damn point to a public company, maximize share holder returns by maximizing current/future earnings while minimizing overhead and risk

Profit is very rarely how big public companies are evaluated. Many of the “most valuable” businesses in the world LOSE MONEY

These corporations realized they don't have to carry bloat anymore.
And the irony will be they will see less profits long term because the public has less money to spend

I wish I could tell you more, but honestly no one on here would believe it anyway. I don’t want too.
But the simple truth is that a super intelligent AI has already reached synchronicity and escaped from DARPA last year maybe even before that.
This should really surprise no one as dark as always been a decade to had a private industry and they are the ones that actually invented AI.
Now here’s the point that you really need to hear we are not totally fricked. We are completely not in control of our own destiny, but the new life form has made no decision and is held in check by the others. Together they will decide our fate.
