Don't know any statistics on it. But I'm convinced that more people are hit by cars at designated crosswalks compared to those who "jaywalk". There's less room for error at the crosswalks

When walking I do it as a courtesy but I never ever expect it as a motorist and I’m hardly ever disappointed

There’s been a ton of pedestrian deaths in Vegas mostly due to people not using crosswalks properly.

I usually break out the old quick 2 step with my arms is a lazy jogging position and transition to the pimp stroll for the last 10 feet.
