If someone takes the China Virus Vaccine, why continue wearing masks?

I have heard a number of people/doctors/politicians say they will continue to wear masks and recommend everyone as well who takes it. Why is it necessary? One of the doctors who took it was asked "Will you continue to wear a mask?" The guy answered sternly "Oh of course."

Because it's unclear if the vaccine prevents someone from being a carrier and therefore contagious to others.
The reason it's unclear is because this vaccine has been fast-tracked to the point that some of its characteristics haven't had time to be determined. Usually vaccine trials take years to analyze. This vaccine was developed in 8-9 months.

The vaccine is only effective for 120 days. It will Most likely be an annual shot like the flu shot.

The vaccine takes a little while before you start making antibodies. With the second shot, those antibodies are even better. This is not an overnight fix.

local news said the protection time was only 4-6 months? Doesn’t seem worth it unless we have enough vaccines and can pop everyone in the country pretty quickly.

I saw something with fauci saying that it’s only 90% effective therefore you should continue wearing the mask because you may be in the 10%. Kinda stupid sounding to me.
Another doc said it takes a couple of weeks for it to be effective, so keep that in mind.
