If someone offered to kill your child's murderer, would you take their offer?

Watching The Pharmacist and the part where Dan Schneider explains how a drug dealer offered to find and kill his son's killer was interesting. He said he thought about it for a moment but ultimately declined.

I don't know if I could pass that up. Pretty sure most juries in Louisiana would let a grief-stricken parent off with a manslaughter conviction rather than a murder conviction in that situation. Or would it be easier to get away with it if you yourself found the killer and killed them in a fit of brief insanity/rage?

Either way, props to Dan for keeping his cool and passing on that offer. I don't think I could have passed it up if I were in that situation.

Do I get to watch or will the killer make a "Law Abiding Citizen" video for me to watch?

If the answer to either is yes, then yes.

No.

I had a cousin murdered in the 90's. His killer was sentenced to death row, and it really didn't bring the family much satisfaction. A couple were thrilled, but most would have just been happy with a life sentence.

I thought it was funny how he described the guy as a "retired drug dealer." I wonder what the pension plan is like for that career

Huh?? I must've missed that part. Is that mentioned in later episodes? I've only watched the first episode so far.

Only if the murderer told them before they died why they are about do die and that I sent the murderer for justice and revenge. If you take a life, be prepared to lose your own.

If I was 100% sure I knew who the killer was I would because I have more faith in street justice.

But again, I would have to be 100% sure.

I would like to say no. However I would probably do it myself.

If someone killed one of my kids I would want them to suffer the worst way imaginable I would kill their mother their wife and their kids so that they can sit in prison thinking about what their actions caused
