If it is about the money why not therapeutics?

Seems like there is a dump truck load of cash is to he made if a big pharma or other developed a therapeutic that worked. Get the rona, test positive, take this pill, shoot this juice, huff this enhaler, or whatever. I think everyone has pretty much concluded that the virus is going to be with us for a while. Why put so much federal dollars in hunting a vaccine? Put some of those dollars in a cure if you do get it?

I just don't understand why there are zero conversations about therapeutics except in the darker regions of the internet that involves vets and animal medicine.

Money is in treating it not curing it. Just like cancer, HIV, etc

They are called boosters, and I predict that down the road they are going to drastically go up in price.

There are treatments on the way. I know a couple of drug companies have pills in trials right now.

Yeah, right now they are like $40 a shot. I get medicine for an auto-immune disease that costs my insurance company $2700 per shot.

Treatments are not as divisive as mandatory vaccinations.

We can't have Americans agreeing on things and working together for a better country.

Division generates a lot more clickbait news stories and funding/support for politicians.

Why won’t you just take your joestrogen shot and wear your 3 masks? Do you want to be a murderer?

There are therapeutics. I know 6 people that have had them. Why do you think they aren’t a thing?

Maybe because it had never been stated that if you test positive contact your pcp and they will write you a script you can get filled at any pharmacy.

You know, kind if like Tamiflu?

The only treatments discussed require you to be admitted and then it is very mixed results.

Aren't antivirals notoriously difficult to make? It's why vaccines are the gold standard for viruses.

I get what you’re saying. You kind of have to know to ask for them.

I don't know, honestly, that's why I ask. I have no idea how complex it is to make an anti viral.

But, in certain circles there is already a product that will combat this but you can't discuss and most legit physicians won't talk about it.

I am reminded of that commercial that talks about a product that uses a protein or something out of a jellyfish. Who in the hell thought about trying that?

That's my point, it seems the amount of things that are tried, would be published somewhere. Like a catalog of we tried this and had no/some/mixed results.

If I am on vent if given the option that something may work, let's run with it. What's worse than taking your chances with a vent?

you also aren’t allowed to talk about these things on social media without it being taken down. i guess that seems totally normal as well
