California would be a likely place for them to attack. Many liberals there.

If they were okay with the suicide part of the mission I think the easiet thing to do would be to have about 10 dudes rush through stadium gates after it was full and sprint through stadium section tunnels and just hit the buttons after they emerged in the bleachers. Would kill several thousand pretty quick.

Or would the fact a lot of people conceal carry help stop the attack before it got that far?
Yeah, like in those other mass shootings. Or some dude with a handgun will shoot a guy in an explosive vest just in time!

I'm not saying Billy and buddies ride down the street shooting shotguns would have prevented an attack. The southeast has a larger number of people who own/use guns. To say that the possibility of concealed carries couldn't hinder an attack is ignorant.
It could, but there have been people, cough, Trump, cough, who act like having concealed weapons will be the answer. It won't. It may thwart an attack or three, or limit the body count. Or maybe it won't, and never will.
Take Paris. One attack in a concert hall, the other in a bar. As someone with a CCL, I wouldn't be carrying in either scenario. Why? Because I'd be drinking like most people. A lot of things have to come together to thwart a well-organized attack. You have to have people carrying, you have to have a situation that allows people who are carrying to make a difference (see Nairobi mall situation for a scenario that could be very difficult to stop), and you have to have someone who carries who is capable of taking appropriate action.
Do I think our laws give us a better "fighting chance"? Sure. But for those people, few as they may be, who think this type of attack isn't a huge threat to us, they're insane.

Maybe alcohol is what we need to get rid of, rather than restricting the carry of weapons.

America without guns and booze would suck

With all the people packing guns, both legally and illegally, around Baton Rouge shite like this would be over pretty quickly.

That was the plan at the French stadium. The first bomber was stopped by a security guard and blew himself up outside, which spooked the others into detonating prematurely.

Yes. A surprise attack with fully auto weapons in a public place would easily result in 100 casualties.

Honestly, if we were to be attacked again, it will probably be something like Disneyworld in Orlando.
They check bags, but that's it. There are rarely any actual police officers in the crowds or at the gates.
and this is what it looks like every single day
I have been to Disney tons of times, and every time I'm irrationally afraid of some attack like this. The lack of security and the gigantic and often times impossible to move crowd is uneasy.

I go and it never looks half that crowded. Go in November or April.

No it doesn't.
Any of the parks at Disney World would be a huge task to actually take control of. I'm not saying they wouldn't kill a lot of people, but it would be difficult to take control of a place that large.

Every time I've gone, the fireworks show generally has everyone coming into the middle like that.
I'm probably just going at the worst times.

More people would be killed by Redneck Crossfire.
In a situation like that, I would rather die from a redneck trying to protect America, instead of from someone who is fundamentally trying to destroy America. The crossfire killing is innocent in the fact that it's not intentional - the other would look at the American's death as a trophy...
Seriously, why bring up a hypothetical that's completely out of context...

The fireworks are when you hit the best rides.

I rode Thunder Mountain (I honestly don't know if it is still there or not) 7 times in a row because of fireworks. The operator just let us stay on.

Exactly. An open mall during the middle of the day is one thing, but people are greatly underestimating how chaotic a dark, noisy theater is. That would be the literal worst case scenario for a single environment to contain.
