How many of those so called protestors are actually from NOLA and Saints fans....a very low number. Hope Can't Guard Mike has fun not getting many balls his way this season. Never rip your QB.

i just want him to stand his ground and not back down or apologize for having an opinion that happens to differ from someone else's opinion.

Got plenty of money and most of his brain left. If the fans don't give a shite, there's no reason to play.

If he retires, then Tom Brady is the all time passing leader. Brees isn’t going to let that happen.

Such a shame.

The guy gave a very reasonable explanation which he didn’t even have to do. He spelled it out and the selfish millionaire spoiled athletes like Lebron James have to piss on it like he has to conform to their mindset or he lacks understanding.

He simply feels like respecting the flag because it’s patriotic. That doesn’t mean he hates black people.

I’m tired of the nfl and weary that the entire sporting world is about to see a giant shift in racial concerns.

I can’t stand soccer either.

He was answering a question asked of him. He had 3 choices:

Lie and say that he thinks it's cool to kneel during the anthem

Say "no comment" and still get shite for it

Or tell the truth of how he feels

Apparently, the only option that would've been acceptable was to lie.

That's horse shite.

THIS. He has been against the kneeling from the day it started. He has said it multiple times. This interview was set up to see him fail. Because he is a good person, they knew what his response would be. frick them for setting him up because they knew he couldn't lie or they would go back and find records of it anyways.

Welp

He’s issued a formal apology on social media.

I wish he would’ve retired and told Michael Thomas to enjoy getting killed by Winston over throws. I would like to see how much his contract would’ve been with a shitty quarterback

Went full cuck and issued formal apology today because I’m sure that will appease the mob. Maybe he can go find some black guys to kneel before to really complete the apology.

You just absolutely hate to see it.

I was thinking earlier that if I were him, I'd go on and retire. Head to a beach house or a ranch or something.
Live on a yacht and avoid property taxes. He can afford a yacht as large as some counties/parishes so it's not much different than a coastal city. Except since he'd own the yacht he could pick and choose his "residents" as their employer.
