Its more about habit. If someone throws them out without even thinking about it, they probably do the same with other trash.

Is it actually littering?

It depends where you toss it. If it’s among vegetation, then no.

Birds use that shite to make nests. You should see what they do with cigarette butts, which help them keep pests away.

If you’re not slinging spent Zyns out the window if you lifted F250 with white oakleys on you’re not even technically alive.

You can discern the caliber of people who frequent this board based upon the ratio of down votes to posts like yours that disapprove of tossing them out. Mostly trash.

Feeding rats and vermin with their trashy ways.

Explains why the side of the roads in Louisiana are so filled with litter.

Why is that any different from feeding the ducks. I'm sure some animal will eat it.

I throw banana peels out the car window all the time. Its composting
Hey, if the fricking dot heads can shite in the streets of India, my little 'ol banana peel and apple core tossed out into the weeds off the rural interstate are like Mother Theresa paid a visit to the critters out there. Some animals of one type or another will feast. It's just helping return to Mother Nature from her natural bounty.
