Unfortunately I think you are correct. We live with my 78 year old dad and even though he is extremely healthy and active I feel like I will have to remain cautious for a while.

Nope. I'll go get my hair cut and colored, my nails done and then out to dinner.

The more this ramps up, the less that looks like a possibility.

I go to the movies a lot, so I'm really missing it. I'll be there as soon as I'm allowed to.

CDC Model tells me that it is GONE by May 12 and almost nothing but a few remaining patients in hospitals on May 1

Washing hands and general hygiene goes a long way in preventing infections.

And maybe you should chill on calling people "dumb".

This is not happening, I work on the crisis management team for a Fortune 500. Highly regulated industry with lots of client facing locations. April 30 is unrealistic and we are being told to expect lengthy shutdowns well into Q3. Short of a vaccine, we are simply at the very beginning of the event.

Downvote away mouth breathers.

I'd wait a while. Not because of corona, but because I wouldn't want to deal with the crowds. Once people stop rushing to the restaurants like they are they last roll of tp I'll start going places.

I will probably chill a little while longer and observe the second wave break out because an arbitrary end of month calendar date means exactly jack shite.

It’s more likely that happens on May 30th not April 30th.

Do you run scared of the flu?
Because this is no deadlier than the run of the mill flu for healthy people.

Maybe even less.

I’m essential so I’m out already... but I’m supposed to get married in June in Montreal and I miss being able to sit and eat in a restaurant. That will be before the ink is dry.
