Riding 5mph is seriously easier than walking. Do people seriously think they couldn't walk 48 hours straight for $1.2M?

Bet a Navy Seal can do that, that sounds about what they do in hell week according to some documentaries I have seen.

Dan is an even bigger prick for trying to make it as easy as possible. He posted a picture on IG a couple months back of what looked like a $10K Trek that he was "training" on. Come to find out he's riding a recumbent drafting a damn cargo van.

Hey, wait a minute. I hope you aren't trying to imply that Dan Bilzerian is an attention whore.

He left from Vegas, which means he will be losing elevation (going downhill towards the coast) vs. gaining it. Plus the van is breaking his wind resistance so he can keep up pace. It also looks like his bike has massive gears to do all the work for him.

Hold up, are you claiming to be the real Dan Bilzerian?

I'm gonna need some proof first like a pic of Dan with an "I love TD" pic.

It looked liked he flew in lance Armstrong to help him train for this. Armstrong looked like he was having a blast at his house and shooting guns with Dan. I wouldn't mind having a friend like Bilzerian.

I don't know if 1.2 million would be enough to get me to ride a recumbent bike in public.

I would take this bet all day long. Even at an easy 15 MPH pace, you could ride it in 50 mile increments, take a 4 hour break, then hit up the next 50. 15 MPH is a pretty easy pace to keep up unless there is a beast of a head wind in your face. Worst part is not being conditioned to sitting in a saddle that long, but I could get through the pain for 1.2 million, and it looks like he bypassed that issue with his geriatric person's bike.

Says all he has to do is donate 25k to his charity. 100k on bike and other stuff to train. 1mil isn't bad. But it's not like he didn't have the money to begin with.
