I tried to give him some food scraps but he wasn't interested. I got close enough to see his name is buddy and the first numbers were 225 for the phone number, but the rest were obscured by another tag, then he wouldn't let me get close again. Doesn't seem hurt but scared.

ETA: going to store getting him some dog food. Hoping he's there when I get back.

Dammit dogs get the better of my goat.

Update: was able to find him
Again, give him some food, found the number and found out who he belongs to. He's back where he needs to be

Dang, be safe Baw. By the looks of that building and sidewalk, you're in W. Baltimore. Watch out for Snoop and Chris and don't end up in a vacant.

Gov't and 14th is in BR, east of the downtown area. But your concerns for his well being remain true.

Since he has identification, calling animal control might be a good move, unless you can stay with him all day.

Dog was gone when I got back with the food though, so...best of luck. I tried

He's for the streets now

I'd say that the BRPD could likely solve the case of the missing dog before Allie's murder, but I doubt they give much of a shite about this one either.

Good job. Looks like he pounded the Cool Ranch Doritos bait and licked the plate clean. Happy Friday

Poor guy. Hate to see old dogs lost. Hate to see all dogs lost but I got a 14 yo Aussie and I'd hate for her to get out and get lost like that. She's already easily nervous about unknown people scenarios in her old age.

We got pictures, updates, historic background of the location, a return to the scene and Google Street views. The whole saga played out in 52 mins. I can't wait for the followup ballad of Buddy.

It wouldn't make for a very good ballad.

Now...if I wrote something about how an evil dog catcher plucked up buddy, and then took him to the pound, and then he escaped and had to fight a gang of young pitbulls, as an old dog... that might be worthy

and the gets aided by a crow, and a 6 toed cat named Flooficus Maximus, and they have to make a journey through the hood to try to get him home.

And what had happened was that I found him on the final leg of his journey?

I mean, I'd watch that movie.
