Just give them a piece of candy and wish them a Happy Halloween. After all, they could be out doing worse things, and in the end it's just a piece of candy.

Happy Halloween everyone!

I don’t see a problem with it. I know for a fact that Walt still goes out to trick or treat.

Give them candy or you're cleaning up toilet paper tomorrow morning

Unless you're NT74 , bro you don't need to be giving teenage girls a damn thing.

If they go through the trouble of wearing a costume, they get candy from me. Doesn't matter the age.

If you’re a teacher then invite them in for a drink and see where it goes.

If you hate trick-or-treaters like I do, just inform your neighbors that you are a registered sex offender, and you won't have to worry about them. Works like a charm.

What about if it’s an adult not in costume with a school bag wide open asking for candy and telling me it’s for the baby in the stroller that’s not even old enough to have teeth to eat said candy???

My problem is not that they come without costumes...but they come after the lights are out and knock/ring the doorbell incessantly. Even AFTER I've gone and told them we are out of candy. Let's hope they don't feel emboldened by the news protests...

We had two trick or treaters last night (was changed to last night here because it's going to be storming tonight), one with a 6 month old being pushed my his aunt, and one with a 17 year old who just wanted free candy.

They're teens. They should be out doing worse things. It's perfectly normal and somewhat healthy for teens to be out drinkin', screwin', and getting into scraps.

I thought the protocol was give them something then come to the OT bitch about how far society has dropped from the good ole days.

My little girl has been a bit hesitant to go trick or treating this year because she looks like she's 13-14 already. She thinks people will think she's too old. She's 5'2" at 11

To you it’s just candy.

To me it’s giving in to the entitlement generational problem we’re having in this country

The vicious cycle has to end somewhere, and tonight it ends on my porch.

I’l be wearing my Donald Trump mask so I doubt I’ll have many people from other neighborhoods asking me for candy
