I think the only place you could build without tearing down the existing dome would be by the convention center in those grass lots.

Right in the middle of the Old Metairie Conservation District. They'll approve it in a heartbeat

I literally just drove back from there. The traffic is the worse in the state by far on a Tuesday morning.

How things have changed!

Two decades ago, the answer "San Antonio" would have appeared, but with Tom Benson's death, that seems to have gone with his wife's inheritance.

Putting the Saints in St. Tammany is dumb. They need to be in the city limits somewhere.

A stadium on the Lakefront Airport property would be pretty sweet. You can build a new GA airport in da East.

Put it wherever it doesn't require state or federal subsidies.

Agreed, it would be a horrible idea to move a professional sports franchise to the Northshore; however, St. Tammany is in need of an arena and an entertainment venue for medium to large scale events.

In the area I have clouded in red here overlooking the Mississippi River:

There is more than enough room for a new stadium and parking here. And it's adjacent to the Warehouse district.

Honestly the latest renovations are pretty amazing. They should buy the stadium another 10 to 15 years. The real question is, will the City of New Orleans disappear up its own a-hole before ever getting to see a new stadium?

Build the stadium on an empty lot with plenty place for growth. Have someone with common sense come up with a plan. Cowboys have a pretty good setup.

Not a bad idea but you would have to build really good transit from the stadium to the FQ and hotels.
