Also this guy was showing up 15 minutes early to get a meal, then ordering another meal when the girls would show up and then bail after eating the second order. It was a whole scam, i have no sympathy for him

Neither do I. I have nothing but respect for him.

This happens to me all the time. I don't complain about it. I just pay the check, go home, an jerk it.

It was a good thing that she left and it ended what was a crazy relationship. Great BJ's though...

It was worth it for all the expensive steaks and lobsters I ordered and ate.

I'd say that it's normal to say that the guy (and girl) is responsible for his (or her) half of the bill, unless otherwise agreed.

A drug dealer that deals only to a couple people versus a drug dealer who deals to many....is still guilty of drug dealing..no?

Not defending the guy, more about highlighting the double standard of criminal behavior.

Is it your belief that most women haven't ever used a guy for a free drink? A free meal? A free ride? I think there was a scene in a movie where a girl says "I'm starving" and then opens a dating app to see who she can get to buy her dinner. And it's laughed off.

Prosecutors said Gonzales took several women he met on dating apps out on dates and essentially left them at the table without paying any of the bills.

Tried doing this with my wife, but forgot she has a debit card for our joint account.

You are highlighting an imaginary double standard. You are equating a woman who uses a guy for a meal where the guy agrees to pay for her meal at the end with a guy who ran a scam to drive up an exorbitant bill then deliberately ran out on the bill that he had incurred, without any actual agreement for his date to cover the tab. In the first scenario the guy is not being defrauded. He is making a decision and willingly entering into an agreement. In the second a person is stealing from a restaurant and trying to guilt their date into paying for the bill. If a woman had similarly acted like this guy then it would have been just as illegal. There is no double standard. Only your hatred of women.

Or, maybe he's actually brilliant and more man than most of us. Have you seen how some of these girls look when they're not in their picture?

I mean, were they fat or ugly? Guess he should've known that before the date, but those thick girls know how to take pics that aren't so revealing. The ugly gals even know how to hide the ugly... should be a crime like false advertising....seems how they knowingly do it.

What about when you set up a date and the girl shows up and she isn’t hot? That should count as date rape imo

obtains tangible good without implied intent of purchase. Like buying something to wear and returning it after you wore it. You never intended to actually purchase, just use without payment.

you don't know this. unless he bailed on every single date, then he could have dine this after he felt they lied to him i.e. uses pics from 2008 in profile.

the overall idea is an adult uses a situation to procure an asset without ever having the intention of delivering. Its a con job however you look at it.

Like every professional con, it's always "the Mark's" idea.

Yeah, great plan. "I will set up dates at high end restaurants, order something expensive so that I can get caught, go to jail and eat the shitty food there".

There are easier ways to get yourself arrested.

You should have kept quit, letting us assume you were a moron.

Nope, you just had to prove it.

Maybe you are unfamiliar with the jail he went to. Aunt Bee's fried chicken and homemade biscuits are awesome.
